Realistic wound simulations developed primarily through traditional hand sculpture. Dan created the original wound masters, molds and casts, poured the physical pieces and prepared them for delivery to Moulage Concepts. The broader process also used 3D printing where appropriate. Moulage Concepts produced and painted the final silicone pieces. Dan also designed the MasterCast logo.

Storyboard illustration created across several years of video production work for Faceout Studio in Bend, Oregon. Scripts, characters, locations and camera direction were translated into detailed visual sequences that helped crews and talent understand each scene before filming.

An illustrated municipal identity developed from local research and original photography. The design brings together the Kootenai River, the community’s bridge, surrounding mountains, wildlife and recognizable elements of town, delivered in multiple configurations for print, signage and digital use.

A broad visual and digital project for the Bonners Ferry brewery, including the website, illustrated beer identities and supporting design. After the business was sold and moved in a different direction under new ownership, this original version was preserved as a portfolio archive.

Character and educational illustration developed for insect- and tick-awareness materials. The work turned medically relevant bugs into distinctive personalities that could carry health information across youth curriculum, printed materials, apparel and campaign graphics.
